Girl vs World: Living for Adventure

“I’m in love with cities I’ve never been to and people I’ve never met.”

Ever since I was a little girl, I have gone away on holiday each year with my family. These holidays were always limited to places such as Spain and Turkey. They were fabulous holidays, and I have the best memories from these trips but I always wanted to see more.

I was born and bred in a small country in the United Kingdom called Wales. It’s so so beautiful and if you ever get the chance you should pay it a nice little visit. However, growing up in a small town of 30,000 people,  it was never enough for me – I always wanted to leave and explore.

I sat down for the first time today and decided to write a list of places I wanted to visit before I died and surprise surprise it’s a rather long and most likely expensive list (the one’s underlined are placed I have already visited):

♡ ASIA ♡

Maldives / Thailand / Vietnam

Montreal / Niagara Falls / Quebec / Toronto / Vancouver / Las Vegas / Los Angeles /
Miami / New York City / Orlando / San Diego / San Francisco / Washington D.C

Austria / Belgium / Bulgaria / Croatia / Cyprus / Czech Republic / Denmark /
Finland / France / Germany / Greece / Hungary / Iceland / ItalyNetherlands /
Norway / Poland / Portugal / Russia / Spain / Sweden / Switzerland

Travelling without my parents for the first time made me feel very anxious but the more I travel abroad, the more confident and comfortable I feel.

Over the last 2 years, I have slowly started ticking countries off of the European aspect of the list. I hope to have seen almost all of them by the end of next year by going Interrailing with my friends in the Summer of 2017 – The adventure of a lifetime!

The biggest dream for me is to spend a few months travelling around America when I graduate in two years, so I better start saving now because that will be a lost of $$$!

Where in the world would you like to visit most? Where have you already been? Do you have any travel tips? Feel free to share in the comments!

With love,

Brooke xo

  1. Germany and Greece are amazing, for different reasons. Greece is super laid back and Germany is magical at Christmas time, especially in Munich. Germany is also great for a party if you go somewhere like Berlin. Switzerland is super sweet and quaint too, which amazing chocolate. What an exciting list!
